CONCLUSIONS:
GSH values and total antioxidant capacity are reduced in chronic
periodontal disease. The high concentrations of GSH present in GCF in health
are similar to those found extracellularly in the lung and may represent an
important antioxidant and anti-inflammatory defence strategy common to exposed
epithelial surfaces.
結論：
在慢性牙周疾病中，各種GSH相關的數值 和 總抗氧化能力 有下降的現象。健康的人的GCF(牙齦溝液)中存在著高濃度的GSH (穀胱甘肽)，這種現像很類似於在肺部細胞外面也可以找到GSH (穀胱甘肽)；對於上皮細胞暴露在外面的表面而言，這可能代表著一種 相同而且可以共用的 抗氧化劑 和 抗發炎的防禦策略。
